A new poll of Alabama voters shows Republican Roy Moore’s support is once again on the rise despite the bombshell report of allegations of sexual misconduct that surfaced back on Nov. 9.
A Change Research survey released Tuesday found Moore leading Democrat Doug Jones 49 percent to 44 percent ahead of Alabama’s special Senate election on Dec. 12.
This is the third poll Change Research has conducted since the allegations first made headlines. It shows Moore has taken back Jones’ 3-point lead from less than two weeks ago.
Moore may have also received a boost thanks to Trump who took to Twitter on Sunday morning to slam Jones.
“The last thing we need in Alabama and the U.S. Senate is a Schumer/Pelosi puppet who is WEAK on Crime, WEAK on the Border, Bad for our Military and our great Vets, Bad for our 2nd Amendment, AND WANTS TO RAISES TAXES TO THE SKY. Jones would be a disaster!” Trump wrote.

Moore has been under fire since The Washington Post published an explosive report on Nov. 9 with the accounts of four women who claim he sexually pursued them when he was in his 30s and they were in their teens. Since that time, a total of nine women have levied accusations against Moore.
Moore has vehemently denied the allegations.
The online survey of 1,868 registered Alabama voters (self-reported) was conducted Nov. 26-27 using using Change Research’s patent pending Bias Correct technology.
