Personnel note: Mike Rogers’ Chief of Staff Marshall Macomber leaving Hill

Marshall Macomber announced Wednesday in an email to colleagues that he is leaving U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers’ office effective Thursday.

In his email, he said:

Beginning in August, I will be starting a new consulting firm focusing on the policy, politics and communications of public-private partnerships.

According to his Linked-In profile Macomber has been with Rogers since 2003 first serving as communications director, then as a committee staff member and most recently as chief of staff.

We wish him much success in his future endeavors.
