The U.S. House of Representatives will vote Friday on a landmark pro-life bill that would impose criminal penalties on doctors at abortion clinics who do not try to save a baby who “survives an abortion.”
Introduced by Arizona Congressman Trent Franks, H.R.3504 – Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, was introduced in the wake of a series of 10 videos released by the Center for Medical Progress where the caught and exposed Planned Parenthood officials selling aborted babies and their body parts. One of the most shocking videos released was of the nation’s biggest abortion provider harvesting the brain of an aborted baby who was still alive.
Rep. Martha Roby (AL-02), one of the co-sponsors of the bill said earlier this summer, “It is honestly hard to believe a human being could bring themselves to believe this is okay. Of course, this is completely illegal, but that apparently isn’t stopping Planned Parenthood.”
Rep. Robert Aderholt (AL-04) is also a co-sponsor.
