Republican Marco Rubio is bringing his presidential campaign to Alabama on Tuesday.
The Florida senator will hold a rally in Guntersville that is open to the public. The event at the Guntersville Recreation Center will begin at 4:15 p.m.
The Alabama secretary of state’s office said Rubio will also attend two private fundraisers in Alabama.
The rally is part of a sweep through the South that includes a stop in South Carolina earlier in the day.
More than 10 presidential candidates have visited Alabama as southern states band together for the so-called “SEC Primary” on March 1.
Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton will also be in the state Tuesday for an event marking the 60th anniversary of the Montgomery Bus Boycott.
