Alabama Power cuts the cord from BCA Governmental Affairs Conference

In a surprise move, Alabama Power officials have decided the company would not support the upcoming Business Council of Alabama (BCA) Governmental Affairs Conference in Point Clear this weekend.

Alabama Political Reporter first reported the abrupt move Wednesday, saying that neither BCA, nor its employees would attend the annual event.

According to APR, the power giant does not support BCA’s leadership in CEO Bill Canary and they’re disappointed he’s failed to deliver on the association’s legislative priorities.
