“Steve Marshall is the experienced prosecutor we need in the Attorney General’s office,” said Democratic District Attorney Ben Reeves, Jr. of Barbour & Bullock counties. “He has proven his commitment to the people of Alabama over the last year and a half and I’m confident he has what it takes to work with both Republicans and Democrats as we continue to fight crime in our communities.”

Marshall served as a prosecutor and DA in Marshall County for over 15 years before becoming Attorney General. He is a past president of the Alabama District Attorneys Association and served as the state representative to the National District Attorneys Association.
