Robert Bentley made four appointments recently and announces vacancies

This is the second installment in our regular column about gubernatorial appointments. Bentley appointed nine in our last report and and additional four over the last two weeks. You can read about Bentley’s great success in having his appointments confirmed during legislative session.

Recent Appointments

Pickens County Board of Registrars – Emily Aaron Acker: Acker is completing an unexpired term due to resignation of former Chair Vannessa Stuckey Smith 

Baldwin County Circuit Judge – The Honorable Scott P. Taylor: Judge Taylor is a current District Judge being appointed to the Circuit bench. This will create a vacancy in District Court.

Jacksonville State University Board of Trustees – Tony Ingram

Alabama State University Board of Trustees  – Darrell Hudson
